The Charlotte Performing Arts Center (opened October 2004) is an 825-seat performance and instructional venue located in Charlotte, Michigan. The auditorium is fully accessible with restrooms on all levels. The facility is fully air conditioned, and features an orchestra pit, "cushioned" stage floor, climate controlled storage, professional quality acoustical engineering, high-capacity electrical system for lights and sound with video projection capability on a large screen.
The Charlotte Performing Arts Center hosts nationally-known events, as well as rental events and Charlotte Public School District events. A full schedule of upcoming events can be found here.

Families and Kids
While most performances are suitable for the entire family, some programs may contain adult subject matters. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Box Office. Please use discretion, and consider other audience members when deciding whether to bring infants and small children. Remember, every patron, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

Persons with disabilities should call (517)541-5690 to inform the Box Office of their needs. Limited handicapped parking is available adjacent to the Center.

Electronic Equipment/Cameras
Cameras and recording equipment of any kind are not permitted within the Theatre. Please turn off all cell phones and pagers before entering the Theatre.
Performance Policy
Programs, artists and performance dates are subject to change without notice. Should circumstances prevent an attraction from appearing as announced; a replacement performance (which may be at a different date and time) will be rescheduled. Refunds, credits or exchanges cannot be offered. In the event of adverse weather and/or less than ideal road conditions, the performance will go on as scheduled if the artist or attraction is present (no refunds, credits or exchanges will be offered).
Where to Park
Come early! Traffic and parking near the Center become congested prior to show time. Parking is available in the lot at the rear of the theater. |
