The Charlotte Performing Arts Center (opened October 2004) is an 825-seat performance and instructional venue located in Charlotte, Michigan. The auditorium is fully accessible with restrooms on all levels. The facility is fully air conditioned, and features an orchestra pit, "cushioned" stage floor, climate controlled storage, professional quality acoustical engineering, high-capacity electrical system for lights and sound with video projection capability on a large screen.
The Charlotte Performing Arts Center hosts nationally-known events, as well as rental events and Charlotte Public School District events. A full schedule of upcoming events can be found here.

While most performances are suitable for the entire family, some programs may contain adult subject matters. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Box Office. Please use discretion, and consider other audience members when deciding whether to bring infants and small children. Remember, every patron, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
The performing arts center is fully accessible to persons with disabilities. Assistive listening devices are available for use at no cost. Persons with disabilities should call (517) 541-5690 to inform the Box office of any special needs. Handicap parking is available at the front and rear of the Center.

Cameras and recording equipment of any kind are not permitted within the Theatre. Please turn off all cell phones and pagers before entering the Theatre.
Programs, artists and performance dates are subject to change without notice. Every effort is made to start performances at the scheduled time unless there is an unavoidable delay. Late seating is at the discretion of the performers. The time of such late seating and the use of an alternate seating location is the full right of the Charlotte Performing Arts Center and the artist's management. In the event of adverse weather and/or less than ideal road conditions, the performance will go on as scheduled if the artist or attraction is present (no refunds, credits or exchanges will be offered). If major roads have been closed by law enforcement officials, contact the Box Office for the status of the event.
In Case of an Emergency
Parents and doctors are advised to leave their seat location (as indicated on your ticket) and our emergency number, 517-541-5691, with their sitter or service. You may also check in with House Management if you are expecting a call.
Where to Park
Come early! Traffic and parking near the Center become congested prior to show time. Parking is available in the lot at the rear of the theater.
